Videos

These videos are all LIVE and complete – recorded as they happened, playing in the studio as a band with minimal studio processing, complete with the occasional … shall we say … imperfections that show that we are indeed humans. For short videos see our home page.

Congo Square – We love the Neville Brothers! The first time we played this together was like we had been playing it forever. We may still play it forever …

Bourbon Street – A Tim Boomer original song capturing the feeling of a trip he took to New Orleans to see the Heritage Jazz festival where you spend all day at the festival and all night in the French Quarter.

Cissy Strut – The Iconic Meter’s song is a Funk standard. But played by us it travels to new places.

Ska Blues – An original song by Tim Boomer. The elementary lesson in how NOT to write a Blues song. First you gotta have a mean old woman. I don’t think so. My idea is to have a good woman and a mean ol’ cat. Mix that up with some Ska and you have something kinda different.

Short Skirt / Long Jacket – We love this song and it’s so perfect we could not really improve on it … yet…

Bi Polar Weather – This is also one of Tim’s tunes addressing the changes happening on our planet that are somewhat caused by all of us wanting to always have more stuff. – This particular video was done by my previous band Gozstnotes which was the predecessor to Groove Alchemy

Jimi Thing – the Dave Matthews Band are such consummate musicians we just had to do this song. If Jimi was still alive he would have loved it too.
