Groove Alchemy accurately describes what we do best: We let musicians be musicians. Take a traditional groove, blend in a sympathetic groove-cousin from another continent, add a solo section that morphs into a full band improv section where any musical idea can play around for a while and see if it blends or contrasts or perhaps gets lost and wanders off, flows back to a different solo and then with luck heads towards that last chorus. Great Fun! Next song. We play originals, covers, and strangely twisted covers all with the aim of getting you on the dance floor so you can groove with us.

We will be playing our first gig of the season at the Bistro 1001 B St, Hayward, CA 94541. As usual for shows at the Bistro it is a FREE show.  Since 1994, The Bistro has been Hayward’s home for great craft beer, live music, beer festivals, fine wine, great appetizers and warm memories. I started playing there with Offbeats a couple years after they started hosting bands and then followed with almost every band I was in. In the old days, they would distribute art paper on the tables with crayons and we got a number of drawings of the band shared with us. We’ll have a poster up soon but this is the first unofficial / official indication of our show and ACT FAST – THE FREE TICKETS ARE ALMOST SOLD OUT so sneak in and party with us. And if that is not FOMO enough for you one of my new songs deals with that exact subject. We would LOVE to see you there so please come visit us onstage at our home away from home. -Tim-
